A Quiet November

We're taking a break!  Whew!!  After carefully examining Jim's right hand, the dermatologist decided the chemo treatment was complete.... for that hand. Thank goodness.  Jim is so, so glad to be glove free! The doctor felt that the chemo did what it was supposed to do and will watch his hand as it heals.  We will start again with a chemo wrap on his left hand in early December.

As of now, Jim's chemo hand is very tender and feels like a bad sunburn.  He said it hurts if it gets rubbed or bumped at all.  Even putting his hand in his pocket is painful.  Apparently, puppy nips and handshakes can bring Jim to his knees in an instant, too.  Hopefully, he will be getting some relief in the month to come.
